R4HC-MENA’s Professor’s Nagi El Shagir MD (American University Beirut) and Richard Sullivan MD (King’s College London) presented data on the impact of conflict on cancer care globally and across the Middle East at the American Society of Clinical Oncology’s annual meeting in Chicago on the 4th of June. They were joined by Enrique Soto, MD, of the National Institute of Medical Science and Nutrition Salvador Zubiran , Mexico, who also discussed issues and solutions around cancer care following natural disasters.
